There are times when someone needs a court appointed guardian and/or conservator to manage their finances and medical care.  This is usually due to some kind of disability or incapacity, or perhaps because a minor child received funds from a gift, inheritance or legal settlement.  Disabled or incapacitated adults without an effective power of attorney need someone to make medical decisions, and to protect their assets by ensuring they do not become victims of financial fraud or other scams.  We work closely with clients to manage the complex court required filings, and to ensure compliance with guardian/conservator laws going forward.
